Swan Racing Honors Boston Bomb Victims

Swan Racing will honor the victims of the Boston Marathon with a special "Prayers for Boston" paint scheme in this weekend's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway.

"The tragedy at the Boston Marathon is shared by all Americans," said Swan Racing owner Brandon Davis. "Swan Racing and the NASCAR community offer its support to the Boston community, the victims and all those affected by the senseless act of terror."

Davis' wife Tara, a Boston native, said, "Boston is a strong, united community and will not be intimidated. I am pleased that we are able to use our race team to support my hometown with a 'Prayers for Boston' message."

Driver of the No. 30 "Prayers for Boston" Toyota, David Stremme, said, "The NASCAR community rallies together in times of need. Hopefully, we can help add a little comfort with our message of 'Prayers for Boston' on the car."

Earlier this year Swan Racing honored the victims of the Newtown tragedy with a special paint scheme and by changing the car number from 30 to 26 in honor of the 26 victims at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
