Little Texas To Play at Rockingham

Best known for their hits "God Blessed Texas", "What Might Have Been" and "Kick A Little," Little Texas will rock The Rock on Saturday, April 14, in advance of the NASCAR CAMPING World Truck Series “Good Sam Club Roadside Assistance Carolina 200” presented by Cheerwine on April 15.

Little Texas will perform at approximately 8 p.m., following Saturday's Frank Kimmel Street Nationals, UARA Late Model Series Twin 75's and Truck Series qualifying. Fans holding tickets for either Saturday or Sunday's events at the speedway will be granted admission to the concert. The Chris Lane Band will open for Little Texas and takes the stage outside the speedway's second turn at 6:30 p.m.

"We wanted to make this race a memorable event for our fans," said Rockingham Speedway President Andy Hillenburg. "With a big assist from the City of Rockingham, the Richmond County Tourism Development Authority and the Richmond County Daily Journal, we were able to get a great band here to entertain the fans who are coming out for three great days of racing action. It should be an awesome party at The Rock on Saturday night."

Little Texas will also perform the National Anthem prior to the green flag at 1 p.m. Sunday.
